Hi, I’m Michelle.
I studied graphic + industrial design at the University of Illinois at Chicago. As a double major, I find myself switching from one mode of thinking to the other. This taught me to be holistic in my design thinking. When creating something, I like to think not only about the brief, audience, and research. I find ways to include art, culture, history - because design isn’t created in a vacuum.
One of my favorite parts of the design process is collecting inspiration. Often I source it from unrelated moments or colors in nature. Another part of the process I like is finishing details.
